Once upon a time though,



I'd lost my nerve,

closed my mouth,



because it didn't seem proper,



put my pen down,



cause nobody wanted to hear



what i had to offer,



better yet,



listen to what i had to say,



i cried,

but in a different kind of way,

wrapped in passion,



heat,



laced with



lyrical madness,



that some confused for a beef



with someone



or the next,



i truly didn't write about



nobody,



i just have talent,



yea i believe in myself,



but then again,



how could i not



write about an ex,

picked up my pen



dusted off my shoulders



and said,
